Yeah my races are done by third gear. If I havent pulled away by third, it isn't going to get any better in 4th.

Ya, I agree about 5th being pointless. So I declare myself the winner because I was ahead after 4th!! Although, he was hard to run down, it too me awhile to run him down.

Crash, I'm confused what you're confused about. You were pulling on him and then shifted into O/D and he passed you. Leads one to think he was still in 4th at the top of his powerband at that point. Makes even more sense if his car was geared taller, which would thus allow him to ride 4th to a higher MPH.

I think it's because it was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Honestly, I figured it would be a walk. When we took off, I didn't reel him in until the end of 3rd, and I barely pulled away til the end of 4th at 120. That's what really is throwing me off.

@ Stone-Your Mach also has a higher redline. My lil 2v doesn't even redline at 6k. Next time I'll just bounce off the rev limiter. I think I'll see the guy on Thursday so I'll ask him what his 4th rings out to.

Speaking of redlines, I have a SCT tuner, whats the highest I could raise my limiter without blowing it up? Or should I just leave it alone?

Why? Both cars have minimal mods, the difference in power between the two cars can't be much more than 10rwhp.

Ya, you're right. Honestly, this was my first run at a 2v GT and I thought the difference between the GT and Bullitt were a little greater than that.

Don't Bullitts only have 5hp on GTs? Only difference being an air filter? In my opinion, the only advantage you had on him was your gearing advantage.

Twin 57 mm throttle body, different h-pipe for better flow, better intake manifold not being the plastic one, and yes the air filter. Obviously I no longer have the h-pipe.
