Alright, not to change the subject to much. But is there ANY american sedan car that can run with a tuned Coyote without a ton of money in mods? I'm talking high 11's in the quarter mile.

I must say I do like the low cost of mustang ownership.

 

The supercharged cts-v i know at the dealer brand new they are around 64kit so a little older one would probably be around 40-50k

 

I love the cts-v but doubt I can get one for 40 and the mpg is a joke.

EDIT. You're correct. They can be had for $40k. I forgot about the 2009.

a taurus SHO and not too much more than a Mustang GT.. i think they are like 10 thousand or so more?

 

There are ZERO taurus sho in the 11's

Ford really needs to put the 5.0 into a sedan.

 

I've seen some G8/GTs run high 11s with bolt-ons, tuning, tires.

 

I see a few in the 11's on dragtimes, but a lot of them have nitrous or a super charger.

 

Where were those G8s running, BMR? We've got some good DA down this way...and the guys may of been BSing me about there mods.

Try the SRT8s. They are a few currently in the very low 12s stock.
