In the 4 spd automatic transmission days (2004 and older) yes 4.10 was recommended because first gear was so tall and the automatics were a full second slower 0-60 and slower overall than their manual counterparts.

Starting in 2005 with the 5 spd auto, ford made 1st gear shorter in the auto vs the manual so that the Auto was just as quick as the manual.

2011+ with six speed autos, they made 1st even shorter and in many cases a 2011+ with the same rear gear will be faster than the manual for this reason.

Throw in a super charger and honestly, you don't want 4.10. Too short for so much power. Anyways, back to your question, don't know about the time slip but, you need to be able to hook. With such a short rear gear that will be your biggest challenge and the give you the biggest hit to your 60ft time.
