I raced a Z4 in my moms acura rsx type s and put a car on him from 40 till around 120. I thought he would just fly right by. Not impressed at all with them. Nice kill.

i know this isnt that impressive, but its my first kill in my 06 GT(stock) so i have to talk about it. so im on the way home from work one saturday, and ive only had my stang for 2 months so i still take the long way home. im on a 4 lane road that i usually only take for about a tenth of a mile before i get off and take a parkway home. i had gotten in the left turn lane like i usually do when i see this nice looking new Z4 in the right lane, so i decide to get in the left lane and see if i can taunt him into a race. ive tried this many times before and noone has EVER take me up on it, so i wasnt very optimistic that this guy would try me. i pulled up next to him and of course i revved the engine a couple of times. he wouldnt even look at me. so i figured he didnt want any, and when the light turned green i just pulled out like i nothing was going on. well, he was sandbagging i guess, and he pulls off like a bat outta hell. the next light was only about an eighth mile away and it was red, but i mashed it anyways. he had me by a car length when i hit it, and when i shifted into second i got a SWEET tire chirp(tc was on btw), and halfway thru second we were even, and by about 5k rpms in second gear i had him by a car length. at the light there was a guy in his lane so he got into my lane behind me. heres where it gets good. between this light and the next is maybe 3/8 mile. i just took off, little bit of a wheel spin, but a great launch. he took off with me, but by the time i hit second he was 2 lengths behind me, third at least 3 behind, and when i got outta third into fourth (bout 100mph) i had him by 4 or 5 car lengths and then we both had to slow down for the next red light. when he pulled up next to me i looked over, and its this older(maybe 55, im 25) guy, and he leans out goes "nice car, great race!" and gives me the big thumbs up, so of course i gave the thumbs up back to him. it was a great rush just street racing, win or lose, and i really cant wait to do it again.
I thought I was the only one that did that. I've had my car for 2 months today and I still go out of my way to make my drives around town longer if I can.....and by the way nice kill.
