Auto on auto the camaro by a little bit, I ran 13.9 stock in my auto. Manual stang on auto maro it would be how good the driver is in the stang. That is more even. 01, 02 LS1s seem to put up better times though. Those have the LS6 intake correct?

auto camaro's are just as fast as manual ones, not that it would make a difference in this situation. Id say the camaro will win. I believe the camaro has 20 more HP and not that much heavier.

I don't hear about many 05 GT's trapping higher than 101-102MPH stock, whereas all I see 98+ F-bodies, manual or auto trapping over 104mph stock.

Auto SS's did come with 3.23 gears where as the Z/28 it was an option, reguardless they are really not any faster or slower, and make the same HP, yes the SS and WS6 cars had stiffer suspension but again this does not make them any faster in the 1/4.
