What difference would it make if it was a Trans Am? Usually the Formula's are a touch faster. Have you seen an Auto 05 GT? The 4L60E thats in the F-Body isn't anything like the ****ty slushbox thats in a Mustang. A Mustang with an Auto trans is almost always a full second slower than the 5-speed. Assuming nobody did any work to it.

The f-body auto is generally within a tenth or two of the manual.

 

Not the '05 autos. I ran 13.95 stock and the manuals don't usually run but 13.5 at best. I also had a 2.31 60 ft. on the stock run.

 

Half a second? Thats 2-3 car lengths at the end of the 1/4.

 

If I had a better 60ft. I would have run alot better. You figure 2.1 would have been 13.7.

Honestly, it should be one of the things you have to agree to when you join.

O - Check here if you understand that the SS and WS6 are not any faster than the Z28 and Formula.

 

I was just going off of what i saw on a site stating the Formula runs a 13.8 and the trans am runs a 13.4

 

Different days, different weather and track conditions.
And I hope those are both automatics.
