Me vs 05 STI. Mods are listed on the video.

I had one 225 pound camera man, nobody was in his car.

of coarse he was ognna get you from a dig. but that was a super close race at the end

Yeah I really had a bad launch too on the first race, but it is like 30 degrees outside, and he did have awd.

Everything being equal, even if I got a good launch I can't launch like that lol (like he did)

 

ive taken an 05 off the dig. and i have half the mods as you..

 

I don't see how. The STI is a 13.1 or 13.0 second car bone stock.

It was 30 degrees outside, and I didn't preheat the nittos. We were in a bit of a hurry, so I basically just blew the tires off all thru 1st.

However, from the roll race you can see it was pretty dammed close. I did shift JUST a little early into 3rd (you can hear my car bog) but I don't think it would have made that much differnce.

Maybe the guy you raced couldn't drive?? Or wasn't sitting on the limiter?? Also, I have no idea what his mods are worth on horsepower. And I was also 225 pounds up from the driver.

But I still don't see how even a full boltons minus cams GT could ever hang with em from a stop thru about 120 without running full on slicks.

i had some questions in the kill story one.

 

low 13s capability. Doesn't mean they're going to run it all the time. Much like a 99-04 GT is capable of running 13.9s, but it's just not going to happen all the time.

 

Right. Im just saying that there is no way a lightly modded GT would keep up with one from a dig if the driver was at all capable. I know I had a bad launch, but still. That thing just took off like a rocket.

And from a roll it was a pretty close race. I know I screwed up the shift into 3rd a bit (too soon), and i know there is the whole cameraman in the car thing, but he was still hanging right with me.

I wish I could get some races with nobody else in the car, and a few launches. But I don't think I am gonna beat that thing outta the hole with the nittos.

 

You've got yourself a badass set of bolt ons going on, don't undersell your car man.

Has it ever been dyno'd with all that on it? Any track times?
