Well for starters I have NO IDEA how to tell a LT1 from a LS1... I believe it was the slower version of it because I know how fast the newer ones are, ive raced em and been murdered by em before, haha.. so off the line - i smoke 1/2 of first but catch before he does... we're even until i hit mid 2nd... by the time i was ending 3rd he'd have givin up... I did catch before him and he was automatic... but it was fun... Btw.. if anyone can give me a tip to tell if its a LS1 or a LT1, please tell me - any body styling cues?
Ls1's have a rounded front.

LT1's have a pointy front.

LT1's are fair game for a stock 99+ GT 5 speed.
LS1's are unfair game for stock or modded 99+ GT 5 speed, they are heavily underrated.

hm not sure which one it was.. I just know it had the front hood slits... and it was a z28... yeah, the ls1's ive beaten a couple of em.. and been whooped by quite a few.. haha
my guess is an Lt1, those ls1's are fasssst i dont even mess with them, lt1's are no slouch eiether so be proud, i might be gettin a 95 lt1 for a daily driver to keep the miles off my car, they are nice
I am proud regardless of what i beat, lol... but, those LS1's are damn fast, but i know i've beaten a couple of em before... I still like the T/A series SO MUCH MORE...
t/a's are really nice lookin and they got it all over the maro for looks, a lot of ppl say camaros are ugly, idk i like the way they look personally, and plus i cant find a better deal than a 95 camaro with 50k miles for $3k

What does your car run? To beat LS1's with an air intake, gears, tuning, and exhaust work without headers is pretty good; stock for stock the LS1 F-bodies are almost a full second faster. But yeah, the hood slits mean it was an LT1. Good kill.
