I dunno, that would seem to suggest that the LT1 would trap higher in the 1/4 mile, which it does not. I think they both trap around 100. But then I haven't owned either one so I could be wrong.

Both of my LT1 Firebirds were much faster above 80mph than my 2003 GT.

Not to mention that a LT1 F-Body can easily do 150mph, that is a 9 mile task for a GT.

A stock LT1 will trap a solid 104 with no trouble. A stock '97 Z28 M6 with a decent driver will do a 13.6-13.9 at 104 or so. Unless they're fucking up, or badly driven, a stock new edge GT isn't going to mess with 'em. They are strong cars with excellent power from a dig. Excellent.

I have never seen or heard of a STOCK LT1 trapping 104, they trap high 90s to 100 in stock form. They are an even race stock for stock against a 99-04 GT.

You haven't? My '97 SS was rated at a 13.6 at 104 with the LT4 version running a 13.2 at 107. They trap just above the hundred...with a decent driver (not great driver, but not grandma Betsy, either)

That 13.6 at 104 is what the LT4 SS listed time and trap is not a regular LT1 Z28. They are right around 100. Where have you seen LT1s STOCK trap 104?

The few I've seen run trap just over 100 with decent drivers. Now I've seen a few run like 15s at 98 or so, but you get the point.

The 13.6 is the LT1s listed time. The LT4s listed time is 13.2.

I just pulled the listed time on the LT-4 it was 13.6@104, I don't doubt the LT4 can run low 13s though. I stll have never seen a stock LT1 trap over 100.
