Those F-bodies are both beautiful. I want those '00-'02 SS rims off that LT1 bad. I have the '97 SS rims, and they look good, but those look so much better to me...

I havent run my car yet... im still waiting for my headers and TB/Plenum combo before I take it down to the track... like I said, i've gotten a couple of camaros... and been obliterated by some... maybe the ones im winning are more driver then car? my car isn't a slouch but, I know where it should and where it stands in the racing world.. No I didn't.

What does your car run? To beat LS1's with an air intake, gears, tuning, and exhaust work without headers is pretty good; stock for stock the LS1 F-bodies are almost a full second faster. But yeah, the hood slits mean it was an LT1. Good kill.

You definitely ran into LS1's with poor drivers. You aren't even near 250rwhp and there's no chance with equal drivers that you can hang with a 290RWHP + stock LS1, be glad you ran into crappy drivers

A properly maintained LT1 will be a drivers race form a dig for a 99-04 GT. But out on the open road the GT will get left behind.

I have seen my share of LT1's with failing Opti-Sparks get there *** handed to them by 99-04 GT's. One guy here in town just couldn't understand why his LT1 got beat by a GT so badly, he had headers and CAI too.

His car has absolutly no top end and misses like none other, major signs of OS failure.
