well if he didnt get arrested, i doubt its something to worry about, since if they were going to arrest him they would have done it on the spot. That having been said, thats a very dumbass thing to do on a public road. i hope he learned his lesson, everyone makes mistakes, but he is very lucky he didn't hurt himself or anyone else. just my $.02
also, ZipnByU, awesome that you worked your *** off to get your own car. I did pretty much the same thing, worked for almost 2 years to get the down payment. Hard work sure does pay off, doesnt it?

I got caught doing 130 in a 65mph zone... The cop was cool about it for some reason.. All he wanted to see was how I can change the lights over 100 different colors on my dash! lol True story

 

I'm 17 and I have yet to go over 120 (on a road with absolutely no people, I live in the boonies! lol) and I really see no point in it. I hear almost every week of these dumbasses in my class getting pulled over for doing like 20 over and they were just cruising around, really what's the point in speeding if you have no where to get to fast. I hate these retards that are causing my insurance to go up because they are horrible drivers, puts a bad name on kids that drive hotrods and don't abuse them!

 

amen! I am probably the most conservative sports car driver in town. I have a 1997 5 speed GT and I'm always the one getting flipped off for driving "too slow' which is usually no more than 5 over the limit. My friend in his 72 nova (BUILT) drives as conservative as I do. We just don't see any point in screwing around when yeah you could get a ticket, but you could easily kill an innocent bystander.

I'm doing some repairs and upgrades to my car so I can take it to the track. Then I can feel the need for speed
