03 runs lean
Im wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I put a 95mm mass air meter on and then an acufab throttle body on, after the throttle body the check engine light came on. I had it read at auto zone and it said something about the throttle position indicator and that it was running lean. I am planning on doing a 2.75 pulley kit with tuner.. Is this normal for not having the chip in? Will the check engine light shut off? Thanks,

IMO you should have never fooled around with a larger MAM without a tune.
Also, for your pulleys, I sure hope you aren't using the 'canned' pulley tunes that you can get along with the handheld tuner. You'll be experiencing more lean issues and an expensive flatbed bill to get your car home from wherever the motor let go.

Most Terminator owners either use an SCT 2400 MAF or get a Diablosport MAFia extender for boost needs! Usually, aftermarket MAF meters cause more problems than they are worth. The MAF counts on a larger meter will be way off as compared to stock readings!! This is another reason your PCM is having problems! Adding a TB is fine for stock programs. The pcm will adjust accordingly, but not so with a MAF meter! Only a custom tune can dial in your meter. Since you are also considering an upper pulley change, you will DEFINITELY need a custom tune!! DO NOT USE THE CANNED TUNE for this pulley combo!! The SCT and the Predator pulley tune is intended for 12-14 lbs of boost. If you exceed these numbers, you will run a good risk of running lean, which is the number one killer of a Terminator motor!!
