Gas mileage isn't that bad. SVT put a boost bypass setup that basically eliminates the S/C when below half throttle. You can bypass it, but I really like their idea. Don't forget you'll be buying at least 91 octane fuel too. Usually, I will get about 170 MPG around town and much much more on the freeway. It all depends on your driving habits. The best bolt on is a combination of a smaller pulley and tuner. You'll need it to reprogram your ECU for the pulley for performance and A/F ratio. In addition, it's recommended that you get an upgraded heat exchanger. Alot of heat created from the S/C with the pulley swap. An intake will bring out a head turning whine and a catback will unload the true sound of the Cobra while adding great power.

My fault. I meant to say 170 per tank. Would be nice to have a 400+HP car and get 170 per gallon.

390 / 390 hp at the crank..ford underrated it though...quarter mile prolly mid to late 12's and 0-60 in the mid 4's..pulley would be a first good mod.

mine gets around 16mpg around town and I got like 26-27mpg freeway last month coming home from Hot August nights with a couple of freeways races. I've been told you can get like 30mpg if you do like 60mph, they usually go for around 27,000-30,000 where I live for a clean one w/ low miles. As far as Horsepower they put about 365 or so to the wheels stock, so if you figure an aprox. 15% drivetrain loss thats about 415-420 flywheel hp Ford claims 390/390 for Insurance/tax reasons. MM & FF ran 12.30s in a stock one when they first came out although thats a professional driver, If you're pretty good at bracket racing you'll get mid to high 12s. If you plan on moding it anyone on this site will tell you 450 hp to the wheels will cost you 1000-1200$ Using a pulley/tune & intake/exhaust.
