Default Close Call

alright this morning about 6am i was on my way to work. Its a nasty morning, raining and ****. usually in the rain I drive extremely carefull cause i know how floaty my car is when its wet. well anyway traffic was not to bad yet everyone was going between 70 and 80. Im crusing along on 285 at 80 keeping up with traffic and this jackass getting on the highway cuts across 2 lanes and was not paying that close attention and started moving over on me. I didnt gas it hard but i gave it a little and swerved into the next lane over to avoid him. wheels broke loose and i started to hydroplane. i did 2 1/2 360's across about every lane on 285, i think theres about 6 or 7 of em. I didnt hit any other car and never went off the road. well now i was in the far right lane facing the wrong direction and believe it or not most people just keep on crusing by, barely had the chance to whip out a 180 to get going back in the right direction before i got smacked. somehow or another i came out squeaky clean and my car is fine
when i got to work i did have to get some upholstery cleaner for my drivers seat

Got to love Atlanta driving.....it's more of a sport than just an everyday task. Good to hear everything is still in one piece.

try jersey, if you want to watch a nascar race sit on the side of the Turnpike or Parkway.

I had the same thing happen to me about a month ago on 275 (a 3 lane freeway) just driveing along went to switch lanes doing about 65 and i felt my tires go back and forth had enough time to say of sh*t and i started spinning to the left with a car right beside me and i turned the wheel as hard as i could to the right and did 2. 360 faceing the wrong way. and i was stalled. ya wasnt the funnest night.

wow nice good job on keeping it together. I borrowed my buddies van one time in the snow and i did that on the freeway going about 55mph. I was in the all the way left lane spun a bunch of times and ended up in the all the way right lane luckyly it was like 3 in the morning so there were no cars except for the ones around me that i luckyly avoided hitting. But i turned the van around and headed home.
