Most of the things I have heard about are car are little nuisance items. Most were also fixed with the 04 and the later 03's.

Some things to look for include:

Creaky Steering
Passenger seat rubbing against door
Rear-end Clunk (Attributed to the size bolts used in rear control arms)
Body panels mis-aligned

Now the early 03 models had stall issues, and a ticking noise in the heads. These two were supposedly fixed by the later runs.

Most people that I talk with have never experienced any of these issues. I just noticed the creaking with mine earlier and decided to have it fixed. You had to really listen to hear it and it will not cause problems, but I wanted it right.

All in all, it's a great car and I believe that Ford got more right than wrong with it.

I know I love mine!

Todd,

Thanks for the reply. I love my car too, sounds great and looks great. I can't wait to get all the little very minor problems fixed. Hopefully nothing major pops up. I would think that Ford has had a long time to fine-tune this car, most if not all the bugs should be worked out.

Thanks again for your time.

Sincerely,

Jeff
