Lowering springs
Good day,
I am going to lower my SVT. I have priced out some Eibach Sport springs. They are 1.6" . I am told i need an alignment kit with these.
Does anyone here agree with that? If this looks like a good way to go please let me know. If not, why not and what are some other kits that have worked for you guys.
Also, are they hard to install?
thx

RE: Lowering springs
Hmm.. for a 1.6 drop you shouldnt NEED an alignment kit, its not a bad idea but its not really necessary.
The front springs will be a fairly simple install but the rears will prove to be difficult, and will take a little more time.
If you have an IRS, I'm not really sure what the process is like on those, if its different at all.

RE: Lowering springs
I just lowered my 99 cobra yesterday the same as you, 1.6" drop. the car lookes real good and my alignment is still good. nothing has changed but the drop. With theIRS it is not really that bad kinda the same as the front but i droped the rear two bolt ofsubframe in the rear and compressed the spring and they slid in.
this was my first time doing my springs and it was not that bad. but yeah. i am going to post some pics up here soon.
