i just bought my 03 sonic blue cobra two days ago. at about 4500 rpm i hear a scream from the blower and it seems to lose power. i have stock exhaust so i didnt know if maybe it was starving for air. i have smaller pully on the blower pushing about 4 more psi than stock. so i thot maybe the blower was pushing to much air for the exhaust. i also changed the oil in the blower and the same thing is happening. i also have a weird smell that smells like burning wax when u get into it hard. im sure its nothing big i just didnt know if i need exaust or something else. other than that it drives perfect. the only time it acts up is when theres a ton of boost and ur at or above 4500 rpm

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check your connections to your blower.

i also have a weird smell when i get into it. it smells like burning wax. would anyone know what that could possibly be.
