[/align]there is a huge difference the 99-01 4v heads have a different runner size than the 2003 cobra heads, the 2003 cobra heads are a nice head how ever they only have 4 threaded spark plug hole just like the 99-01, People claim that the 2003 head has cooling issues but that has never been proven. the 2004 cobra head has 9 thread spark plug threads they also have improved coolant passages on the drivers head also the runner size if different. the best thing you could do is but SHM's how to build Modular motor book at your local book store. they refer to the 2004 cobra head as the FR500 head , the 2003 is in a class all by its self and then we have the infamous cobra R head witch decimates all lol [/align]
