Yeah, those dont sound like reliability problems... sound like lotta power problems haha...

How exactly did you break the clutch? Did you shatter the disc on a hard launch??

What im wandering is of all the recalls ive read from mustangshifters.com can i get those even after so many miles..

What kind of exhaust had leaks? Flowmaster?

U will not regret buying a Terminator!! I am working on number 3 with no probs or regrets!! I even bought a modded C5 vette last year with disatisfaction and wound up in another 03 cobra! LOLOL I bought my 3rd one at Carmax last Sept.It had 18,000 miles and was bone stock. I paid 28,000. A little steep but in very good shape. My payments are a little over 500 per month. These beasts average around 360-370 rwhp to the wheels bone stock!!! And the torque curve is usually maxed out around 350-365 rwt. Then when you add an upper pulley, exhaust and a good tune, the numbers will usually jump to 450-475 rwhp and 470-490 rwt. Good luck!!

The shifting is great!! I have an MGW shifter and I love it!! The ratio is real close! Steeda also make a nice Tri-Ax for our tranny!

I just bought an 03 Cobra in April. I paid $21000 for it with 39,000 miles. It was bone stock and in perfect condition, and my payments are $450/month, insurance about $250/month for full coverage. Look on autotrader.com there were tons on there when I bought mine. And I was dead set on a Mineral Grey coupe (of which only 302 were made). I found 5(!!!) that were totally stock. You will find one, just be patient. Reliability for mine has been great, same for my friend's 04 Cobra. Gas mileage is about 23-25mpg highway and between 10-18mpg city depending on how you drive it. When that boost needle goes up, the gas needle goes down!!!

By the way, Ford gave the 03-04 Cobra the Terminator name. While it was still under development, that is what they called itwithin the company. And yes, I'm sure it's cause it dessimated all GMs at the time. Just so you know, I, personally, love the shifting. I have the stock shifter with a shorter Pro 5.0 handle (it removes the stock rubber bushing for a more direct feel). However, the shifting will not be as slick as your Honda. It's heavier, but it has a great engagement feel. Also, it's the same tranny (Tremec T-56)that was in the Trans-Am (POS) you drove, but it might be a revised shifter. Finally, if you remove the stock rubber intake silencer you will be able to hear plenty of blower whine. Add an open air filter and it really gets louder. Swap the pulley, and it flat screams!!
