the 2.2 is better than the new ones .. and you can actually hear it... I predict about 600-650 rwhp on blower - 750 or on spray.. that shot is going to be killer sc'd ... you might see 800 tq
That is not correct as far as design and functionality. Think about it, 2.2L and a 2.6LH will make very close to the same hp up to around 17-19psi... after that, the 2.6L will outshine the 2.2L. Another thing about the 2.6L and 2.8L, the blowers don't have to spin as fast as the older 2.2L and 2.4L when running high boost. This means you'll have lower IAT temps and that is a huge plus with these cars. KB upgraded these blower for a reason as they are a better version of what they used to have.

Not taking anything away from the 2.2L and 2.4L as they are still very good blowers... but the 2.6LH and 2.8LH KB's along with the 2.3L are all top notch. But, to each his own.

Lol you are the all knowing!! Kenne bell wouldnt claim it can run that much boost if it really cant. People would be damaging blowers all the time. But I know you can never be wrong about anything.
ur sarcasm was noted, however u will not show me a set up with a 2,2 kennebell with over 20 psi! so instead of trying to damage my character, just prove me wrong, or ignore me. i already know u dislike me, because i thought it was dumb to go to a procharger on a termy....

I got a brand new kit for 4k. It would have cost me at least 3k more for a turbo.

Whatturbo kit areyou going with?

I thought I did prove you wrong with that link. What other proof do you need. It says right in the text its good to 24psi!!!! Im not trying to show you up or nor do I dislike you. Just simply saying KB 2.2's are capable of more that 20psi.

i am going with the hellion single kit. i am going to start out with a t-76 on it which i am told is capable of around 1000rwhp on the car with the right supporting mods. the kit itself is about 6,500 or so i think plus a few upgrades i am going to add in. the fuel system is going to be the other big cost along with machining the block.
