ajo3svt I meant "Are you saying '01 cobras are NOT 4V"... oops
But in your reply to xx9gt6xx it sounds like you thought his car was a 2V...
Just makin sure you weren't saying '01 cobras are 2V...

I can't say I didn't feel ANYTHING at all. I was ragging on it today and the throttle response was a little better but other than that, nothing. It's one of those helper mods like AJO3SVT pointed out. If I were to go w/ bigger, better things it would help out more and more, but w/ the mods I have that's all it's going to do. We'll see how tuning goes next month and I'll keep you guys posted...

Oh, no, I didn't mean it's not a 4v.

And yeah, it's not going to be a whole lot on an NA cobra even, as mentioned before, but compared to a 2v where it's basically completely worthless, on a 4v at least you'll get some gain out of it. Like redbullitt said, once you go FI it'll help a LOT.

I'm sure you should feel a difference. I'm sure after a tune and especially getting a TB you'll get the gains

After the tune it should be good, but I read up on a couple articles on the 4v throttle body's. They aren't restrictive at all, MM&FF tried out a few different sizes and brands on a 4v for dyno testing and only saw results of 3-5 hp at the wheels w/ aftermarket throttle bodys. Come on, $300-$350 for a peice that will only give you 3-5 hp? I think not...

its not that bryan you just paid 230 for an intake and said you didnt feel anything. so whats another 300 for a tb that sticks open. all aftermarket 4v tbs suck *****. they stick everyone has problems with them.

Yeah the BBK looks good but it's chrome which attracts heat. The JLT is PVC material and keeps the heat out very well. Stay away from any metal intakes, they look good but won't do anything, but then again who am I kidding... Any CAI on a Bolt-On car won't do much anyway as I found out...
