i have a set of 2003 cobra heads that im going to be using for the cobra engine im building but i want to make this motor N/A at least for now because i dont have the money for f/i. i heard that these heads are set up for f/i. would an intake manifold from an earlier cobra fit these heads?

 

you'd need an upper and lower intake from a 99/01, but yes those heads will work N/A. Thats what the Mach I's have.

 

The Mach 1's & 03/04 heads are different.

 

how are they different other than the fact that Terminator heads had the priviledge of being installed by SVT? camshaft specs are the same, heads are the same.

 

mach 1 and 03/04 cobra heads are the same, cam profiles are different....

 

do you have the specs on the cams? It took me a while to sift through a bunch of crap, but what I was looking at showed the same lift and duration for both Mach 1 and Termy cams.

 

ur correct! the cams on all of the following cars, are the same: The Mach, Marauder, Aviator and 03/04 Cobra.
heads for the mach and 03/04 cobra are also the same.
The Mach 1's intake cams are basically the same ones found in the 5.4L Navigator engine, featuring specs of .394-inch lift and a 184 duration. The exhaust is more in line with the Cobra, with the specs coming in at 0.397-inch lift and a 196 duration figure.
