Default Best Performance Upgrade?

Im probably gonna be getting my motor taken apart to fix the balancer or something having to do with the timing chain and I figured I might as well look into doing something to it while its apart anyways. I dont have an unlimited budget here and seeing as the replacement and fix of the timing chain/parts is going to be expensive...im looking for maybe around $500-$1000 for performance. I already have exhaust, gears, tranny, driveshaft, and thats all I know of atm. A few suspension upgrades, but crappy one's.

well its not a 5.0 i dont think. The description "said" it is a stroked motor, but with everything he said is in it it still only puts down 330rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. Does anyone know where I could buy MAC mufflers? or does MAC even make mufflers?

because I'm getting a Bassani catback soon. I didnt pay for it so why not. But does catback come with the mufflers or no? Explain the concept of catback vs. headers, midpipe, mufflers. Whats the difference?

a catback is exactly what it says. everything from the cats back, which include pipes, mufflers, and tips.

look at having your heads ported and valve job done with new higher lift cams. Or if you wanna go in real deep go buy an 03-04 cobra bottom end and supercharge it and you shall be stoked on the power.
