might wanna check what it would cost you to do the exact same thing...just go to a part store's site and see how much whatever is getting replaced is gonna cost...then gauge whether or not you think the difference is worth that much for the labor.

Are you sure you need REAR brakes...I changed mine once on my old car at 60 K, and drove it to 100. My buddy had 118 K on his taurus rear brakes. 145 for 45 minutes worth of work??? Yeah, it's pretty steep, but i'm sure any garage would charge that much. Your better off buying channel locks and a ratcheting 13 mm wrench and do it yourself.

kind of, I work in L.A. and traffic is bad!!![:@] but I'm also the burn out master in my town, little kids love that man, LOL! I already got new tires and that's when they told me that I would need to breaks too.

thanks to everyone for their feedback, really do appreciate that very much.

i bought my 03 cobra used, it had 16 k on it, and needed rear brakes then. i guess too many burnouts from previous owner. i've also replaced the clutch. (i got a great deal on the car, so it was worth it) id say 145 is good. i tried to do mine myself, and come to find out, you need a special ratcheting tool to squeeze the pistons back in. can no longer use the good ol' c-clamp. i broke a wal-mart brand one trying to get my pistons back in.
