2001 SVT 25,000 miles
has not been started in 1-2 months.Incovered garage. Ran fine last time it was run. Turned key, engine turned over. Would not start. Batt drained quick, went to clicking. Put a booster on and the engine turns but will not start.
I have a trickle charger on Batt now hoping it is just too low voltage.

The same thing happened to my car awhile back... All i had was a corroded battery. Just get some battery cleaner (or diet coke) and clean it off... If its not corroded, i would still take the battery cable off and clean it alittle then tighten itback onreal good (it might just be loose) Thats the only thing i can think of if it was just sitting there for 2months with no problems before...I hope this helps. If its not the battery get somone in the car pop the good and open the valve on the fuel rail and take a pen and push it in and have somone try start it
if no fuel comes out ur fuel pump is out

 

Opening the valve on the rail with someone turning over worked. It took a couple of 15 second cranks and it finally started. Running fine and restarts fine now. Almost like the system needed to be bled ????

Short Lived...............Came home tonight and did the same thing. Finally started after 2nd try but ran real rough to start. Think I could have a leak of some sort so that the FI system is not holding pressure ????
Any thoughts
