I got a 2.93 upper and a 100mm idler put on about 6 months ago, since then ive had a non stop squeak. I change the belt and it stops for about 2 weeks then starts up agan,i cant keep buying 40$ belts every two weeks. I took it to ford and they cant figure a damn thing out, they changed every pulley on the motor under warranty, but still it does it. I know its the belt because if i spray a little water on it , it stops and also if i change it to a new one it stops. Does anyone else have this problem? is it because im a running a stock blet and i need a different one?? if someone could help me oout that would be awsome! thanks

 

I had the same problem when i had my blower. Does your go away when it warms up? mine always did. it would squeak right after start up and if i sprayed it with wd40 it would quit for a minute then eventually come back. It did it to me with brand new aftermarket belts also so i doubt it is because of a stock belt.
