so your going to purchase a cobra? i thought you just wanted the engine...

in that case, 03/04s are going to be a lot more money than an sn95 and more on insurance. So get an sn95, forge it and throw on a procharger and youll be good to go and ull still be under the price of an 04 cobra

well, without spending a decent or ton of money, that may not be possible.. unless you find an sn95 or pre 04 cobra that already has the stuff installed on it.

you say that the 96-98's are good for about 450hp. Is that whp or flywheel?

that the thread starter has plans for 700+ hp build
do you know the guy? Why would you doubt someone you dont know? If he has the money he could build whatever kind of car his pocket allowed him. So him being new to iinformation does not mean he cant or wont build something high HP.

You seem very sour or something to me, keep your doubting comments to yourself if your not going to help answer the OP questions..

03/04 motors can handle 650-700 comfortably.. 96-98 and i believethe same goes forthe 99-01 can really only handle about 450 due to that the rods/pistons are not forged. The blocks are fine, and so are the heads/cranks. Cams are ok, all depends on what your going with, but dont really ever plan on getting a big lope out of a 4v..
so i read his other post where he says its gonna be his DD... lmk when u see someone with a 700+ hp daily driver.
