You can dip into your pockets and get better stuff. It all depends on how deep your pocketsare and how fast you want togo...My .02 cents if you plan on spending around 3g for anything in the futrue just go with the whippple and get it over with for around 3g with 17lbs and a safee safeee tune easy 540hp or 550hp with stock everything else except cold air... butt, for starters i would go with the bassani X pipe exhaust bassani cat back and magnaflow slip in mufflers no cats pleaseee, 2.76 pulley with an idler 90mm (no 100mm needed mine never had any belt slip) jlt cold air intake go to a good tuner and you will be stoked mid 400hp range and same tq (prob more)for low CASH!!! If you do a lot of hot laps or lots of freeway runs then go get the new heat exchanger and your car won't heat soak so bad. Let us know how much you plan on spending and everyone will prob be along the same lines on what to buy...

You cannot run a whipple on a stock maf, and stock fuel components, and defintely not a good idea, without any cooling mods...

it would be fine without cooling mods with lower boost because the whipple puts out a lot less heat than the eaton. My friend runs around with a 4lb lower 2.75 upper and a stock stockkkk heat exchanger with his whipple and is just fine. He does have a bunch of boost and race gas. Just fineee. Ohh and you need a boost a pump fuel injectors and a mass air flow sensor. You def defff don't have to run cooling mods unless your going to be this crazzy road racer racing at the streets of willow on a hot *** day. Come on now...

Do not change out your pulley unless you are going to get a dyno tune that day. Increasing the boost on these cars without a dyno tune can lead to BOOM! Get some ARH Longtubes with there matching x-pipe, A catback of your choice and a CAI. Also I would upgrade to a short throw shifter. Theres your starter mods.

steer clear of long tubes they are a pain in the A$$ i have them. They don't add that much power compaired to other less expensive mods.
