Actually the gt500 has the powdered rods.

I've also heard and seen this first hand, but since they seem to also be able to handle 800rwhp more than a week I'd say they are an improvement over say... a Lightning bottom end.

haha good call the lightning rods go way way easy in the world of superchared factory fords. It all depends on how you have the car tuned to a certain level. But don't skimp out on the bottom end eventually you will pay for it...
