Default Problemo

so i got a new battery yesterday and got my electrical system checked out and everything works fine and the car drives fine, but when it sits for a long time without being on something is draining the battery slowly and i've looked at everything and everything is turned off. it just doesn't have enough juice to start but it runs all the lights on startup and stuff, i jus need to be jumped and it starts right up.

you guys ever had this problem or have an idea?

Turn it off and then go through each fuse on the block with the multitester and see which one is drawing current with ignition off.

It could be a failing CCRM which can be pricey. Could also be aftermarket alarm, bad ground, or some other unexpected issue.

Also if you have a a bad alternator you may need a new one or one that puts out more amps. Get it all tested before any serious decision.

I recently had a 97 Cobra and had the same problems I did what McCloud said and checked every fuse with the car off..It worked like a charm...I never had a problem again...So I would try that 1st...
