Default Long Tube headers

does anyone have a installation advice for installing BBK Long Tubes on my 97 Cobra? will the motor need to be jacked up or can it be done by dropping the k member? i have access to a lift so hopefuly that'll save me a lot of hassle. any advice is helpful

Droping the K-member and lowering the engine down a couple of inchs is by far the easiest thing to do.

the first time i installed lt on my gt was on a lift but i just tilted the engine. if you drop the kmember you have to make sure that you align it back on right. tilting the engine was much easier than dropping the k member. just un-did the motor mount bolts and placed a block of wood under the oil pan, then jacked the engine over a bit. made plenty of room for the bbk headers.
