Post 99 Cobra Lowering Springs?

Hi Guys,

I am sure this has been discussed but which springs were you the most happy with? I have no idea what springs I am going with but was leaning towards Steeda. If I drive my Cobra once a week that is a lot so I am not too concerned with how hard it rides. My only concern with that is it might mark every part in the car start to rattle? I wold like to drop more than an inch but am concerned with bottoming out on speed bumps, etc. If any of your guys have ome pictures and the springs you used to accompany, I would appreciate it. Also, where did you purchase? Do I need the CC plates? I just assume put them in while the suspension is apart. Are they needed for the iRS? I assume not but figured I would ask. Thanks

Joe

every stang and other types of cars/trucks that ive seen lowered will begin to rattle or squeak over time, my cobra barely makes it over any speed bump around here so if i tried to lower it would be bad for my side skirts. if you dont already know, with a lowered vehicle you have to take bumps, on ramps or any type of obstacle at an angle to make sure you dont tear off your front end. as for the c/c plates, it depends on how low you go. it will make it a lot easier to get your car aligned if you have them though to insure you dont wear the inside of tires quickly.
