*Sigh* not the old Mustang vs DynoJet debate. Dyno numbers can be fudged, doesn't matter what dyno its on. FWIW before the pulleys and re-tune I put down 275/279 standard correction on a Mustang dyno. Going buy standard corrected numbers that would mean I picked up 31/22 with the pulleys and tune. Not bad for a couple hundred bucks.

Yeah, they can. It all depends on how the thing is calibrated. Case in point. Friend of mine ran his 01 Cobra on a dyno and made 305 or so with just a cat-back and O/R X. Same dyno a few months later with same mods except for now he had a canned tune and he makes 288. How'd he lose 17 hp if the first number wasn't fudged to read high?

BAD tuning combined with a hot/humid day can drop plenty of ponies.

Eh, both days were in the high 60's low 70's and couldn't have been more than 30% humidity. The shop owner even admitted he had the dyno recalibarated since the last time we ran on it. Regardless, the point is it depends on how and when the dyno was calibrated.
