i just a jlt cai from a friend who ordered one for his mach 1, an 03-04 cobra one came (he was pissed) so instead of paying to ship it back he just asked me if i wanted it. so i took it and just installed. my question is that the instruction didnt address anything about the hoses for the intercooler coolant. the filter rubs against them, the hoses are pre bent from ford so i cant just re route them, im thinking of just buy new hose to re- route them myself. is that how they are suppose to fit, or am not reading the instructions right? thx in advance.

 

The CAI rubes the the intercooler hoses?? ...no problems with mine (see pic)...Also, buddy should have called Jay, he would have taken care of the matter....

 

he probable should have called jay, but i dont know. i got to make good use of it. anyways the hoses i was talking about are the ones behind the fender that connect to the small pump by where the kit places the maf sensor. under the hood everything was find.

ps nice over flow can.

 

I used a tie-strap to move the lines back...the air filter was touching a little...

 

ill try that tomorrow but i dont want the lines to be kinked to much.
