Unhappy coolant problem

on my 03 cobra 21k miles
coolant leaks out of my radiator cap after driving sometimes but its not overheating-pegging
it doesnt do it the whole time, because when i pop the hood sometimes there is just dried white residue from the coolant
i tried replacing the cap, still having problems im gonna try replacing the tank should i go stock or aftermarket? im also gonna have the coolant tested for carbons i dont think its nothing serious she feels really healthy but it has me really bummed

before it started doing that did you do anything with the cooling system at all? try burping the cooling system. if you have some good size air bubbles in the system it can do that with out the sensor saying that it is overheating.

I had that same problem, took it to the dealership twice, said it was a defective cap, had to buy one from autozone when it broke one time too... i said screw it and replaced the intercooler coolant tank and radiator resevior tank both with canton tanks. got them from RPMoutlet.com.. but for the love of god dont use them, try anyone else first (RPM outlet is a cancer to the car world) I havent had the problem since.. and it looks cool too!!
