cooling problems

when the car is fully warmed up feel(carefully) diff parts of the radiator and tstat housing to see if any parts are still cold, if they are then somethings clogged. I have had brand new 180 tstats not work.

burp the system, and get a new tstat mine ran real hot and then got a new cap and 180 tstat and fixed, filled it thru the cross over and let it run for a bit and checked it an it was fine

as in a heater?

im going to trying running it w/o a thermostat this weekend and fill it only from the cross over tube. i felt around all the hoses and they all seem to warm up equally. i feel deprived not being able to drive my cobra.

sounds like a burp problem or water pump.

hoping its a burp problem im having a not a water pump. my gt is 4 years older with the same pump and more miles with no problems yet.

Just curious, you're not trying to fill your cooling system by filling the reservoir, right? I hope you're not...

See that cap right in front of the driver side fuel rail, by the supercharger? Take a small ratchet to remove the cap, and fill it from there...
