cooling problems

Normally, you shouldn't have to put it on an incline, but if you already have air in the system, it helps. If you're still having problems, I would guess you have a leak somewhere. What's the mileage on the car?

43k miles on the car, as i was filling it up i taped all the hoses to dislodge and air bubbles that were possibly stuck somewhere. as for leaks, couldnt find any but so far so good. ill be back and report on my short test drive after i check for any lost coolant again.

just got back from the gym at school and so far so good, no leaks and the temp needle stays at about 11 o'clock. that smell of coolant is still lingering around so im going to give the snake a bath and hopefully get rid of that smell.

...sounds good, or at least better....It may that a few days (or more) to get rid of the smell!

i going to school today with the car so if i get no problems then im going to say the problem has been remedied.
