so my tuner came today and i cant get the damn thing to work, i go in hit custom tune, load, and it says "please turn key to the ON position" "do not start vehicle" so i do, and nothing happens, ill sit and wait 10minutes and the screen never changes. its an sct sf3. any suggestions? there customer support is currently closed..

 

did you get it new or used? never heard of the SF3 whats that stand for? I have an xcal2. is it like that at all?

 

brand new yeah its pretty much the xcal3, i tried calling sct and american muscle but sct was closed and american muscles in house tuner was not there.

 

i would just keep trying with them mine at that step took maybe 45 sec's over all bout 2 to 3 min...i have the xcal3

that wierd after you cylece the car on it should have you select the tune you want to load. once you select it it should begin to download your current settings into the handheld and upload the custom tune to the ecm. wonder why yours won't advance? hard to do anything without being able to see it and mess with it but its odd for sure.

 

i had a diablosport chip in the ECM, got the tune loaded, runs wayyy better

 

yeah that would do it lol.
