Default bottom end

I know it is probably in here somewhere, but I just looked for an hour and couldn't find it. Anyway does anyone know how much horsepower a 01 Cobra's bottom end can handle? I'm ready to start doing my big mods now but I can't decide on a procharger or if I should get the stroker shortblock I've been looking at!

well i also have an 01 i have been at 420hp 442tq for about a year and a half and havnt had any problems yet. but the 01s have crap rods and pistons but you do have the forged crank. whats great about the 01s is the higher comp its like 9.5-1 the only thing that i have had a problem with is the tranny my imput shaft snaped no big deal the only thing i worrie about at the track is the IRS is weak!

Yeah the IRS is ****ty for the the track but it's real nice for the road. I thoughjt the CR was like 9.85:1? Not a big difference just comparing info.
