Best way to remove dealer decals?
Hi - just wondering what's the best way to remove those dealer decals from the trunk lid? My '96 Cobra has (Rio?) red paint with a white ragtop. I grew up in the Midwest and all the dealers in that part of the country put those ugly suckers on their cars (my car was initially purchased in Idaho). NO dealers do this in SoCal, thank God, which makes the out-of-state cars really stand out! Thanks for your help!

lol when I bought my car from Carmax here in socal, they had decals on it.
Use a towel with lots of warm soapy water and rub it into the decal and let it sit for a while...then just peel it off
Or, get a blowdryer and heat up the adhesive so you can peel the decals off that way

Heat Gun,adhesive remover
And being from the Mid-West I hate those damn things also. If I buy a car that has one on it at a dealer I tell them to take it off before I will leave the lot. Most dealer's have switched to the license plate holder now for advertising
