Default Heads for 98 Cobra

Ok i have a chance to buy a set of "take off" heads from a 04 Cobra. Been sitting in the guys garage for a few years. They are in great shape and look almost brand new.
They dont have the cams with them but everything else is included.
I currently have the sotck B type heads
Should I move to the C type heads or just stick with what i have?
I heard the C type create more power however i heard they have a problem with ticking because of the cooling issues?
Should i grab them? What is a fair price? Guy has a ton of Cobra parts off that car and is pushing them needing some cash.
What should I pay for them?
Here is his ad. Anything i should pick up that is a good spare to have lying around?
"i have everything from cobra heads to alternators. i dont know exactly what i have in my back room but come over and check it out and if u like somthin we will work a deal... the cobra heads are off 03 cobra they are the 32 valve heads amd only need cams. .... other parts i have are: race suspension stock springs cross members wheels and i also have a fully built 5.4 with manly rods with arp 2000 upgrade 1800cc dish wisco pistons brand new lighting crank arp head and main studs fully balanced and blue printed line honed and bored .20 over short block is assembled and still at the shop and comes with canton 7 quart oil pan. block is good for 1000hp was going to go in an 800ho dd mustang it has 9.1 compression and built for boost. will take 5000 for it or obo."

If me, I'd stick with what you have....Cooling issues can be addressed with the 03/04 heads!

Any particuler reason not to upgrade if i can basically steal them?
Just curious? I know I am asking alot but the last time i had a Mustang was in i think 1993. I was living in NC and Holcomb was a tiny shop just starting up with the guys that left lumberton ford, so yea I need to catch up !!

... Changing the heads on a modular motor a little more complicated then our older & charished push rod Fox body Mustangs!!! ...I can still change a set of head gaskets on a Fox (ans have running again) in about 4 to 5 hours...
