Dynamat?
Hey guy wondered if any of you have messed with this stuff. I am wanting to really insulate my car well and make it a good quiet ride from the inside. Do you guys recommend this? Anything better or cheaper?
Also did you guys do you entire car or only certain areas
I was thinking trunk lining. Doors. Under interior carpet?

It's a good product. There are alternatives, but last I researched they were all pretty close in price for the Dynamat-type press on materials.
Eastwood had an alternative product in their catalog here lately, might be worth looking into.
Several years ago, I guy took his 03/4 Cobra and Dynamatted the entire interior floorpan/trunk and door panels.
Said it made the car WAAY quieter all around. He was a high-end audiophile and wanted a more accurate/true sound (not just loud w/subs, etc.). He felt like it was def. worth it.
That said, I actually used Dynamat Extreme under my '04 in the very top section of the transmission tunnel. Made a very nice reduction in sound levels from my trans area (gear noise).
