I had a fiberglass sub box made to save trunk space. Here is a pic of the mock up. Install will take place tomorrow.

Very clean install! How does it sound? Did you do speakers and a headunit also?

 

i am very pleased with the sound. i did an alpine i-x305 headunit (not 100% sure on the model number). No other speakers at this time, just the mach460

 

how much did this run ya overall? i wanna do a similar setup just like yours, amp/headunit/sub. I got a quote from a guy on craigslist to do an install with all these parts.

He wants 250$ to install the system, he said he would come to my house show me that the system works in his car, rip it out and install into mine all for 250.

2 12" JBL Subs, 1000w sony amp, pioneer head-unit, he said he would do it without the wires showing, he has the harness and the dash kit for it. he said EVERYTHING for 250$ i told a few of my friends and theyre like HOLY **** dude do it.. But i dont really want 2 12 inch subs with a box, i only want like one 10 or 12 inch just for that extra bass. im not an audiophile or anything so its not that big of a deal to me.
