A possible conversion.
Hello ladies and gentlemen. So I've been thinking about a possible head conversion for my car. ('98 Cobra) And what I have thought about was whether or not the heads from the '03-'04 Cobra will work with my block. I know that I have an aluminum block, and the Termi's have cast iron. What I don't know is whether or not the Termi heads will bolt up with a block such as mine. I'm not really too sure where to look to get the information. So, I've turned to you ford freaks. I understand that the Termi heads are the best designed heads for our super awesome boost friendly engines.
What I'd like to do with my car. Remove my heads, and bolt on everything from a Termi. Heads (and contents), lower intake, supercharger, stock from the Termi.
Is it possible?

In a word, yes. All will bolt up fine...IF you have EVERYTHING from a Cobra. Your 98 has "B" heads (dual intake runners), where as "C" heads have single intake runners rendering you 98 Cobra intake manifold useless unless adapter plates are used. (Those kill power though) The cam specs are a little different as well. But if you have a 99+ Cobra or Mach 1 intake manifold, those will bolt up fine to the "C" heads you plan on swapping to...without needing all the terminator parts, which can get pricey real fast.

What about internals in the block? Am I going to need to do my bottom end as well? Pretty sure those Termi's have forged manley rods, correct?
Also, is there anyone who has done or knows someone who has done this?

I'm doing it right now...Teksid 98 block, custom diamond pistons, with the crank and rods out of my 03. Your main caps are fine. Rods are forged as is the crank...and PLEASE don't call them "termi's"...reading it is like nails on a chalk board. Just say 03 or something...quicker to type anyways.
