Default HELP! Question for a manual transmission GENIUS!

I have a 1998 Cobra which I sent to a one man transmission shop for a cluth and rebuild. When the car came back, the clutch pedal rests 3x higher off the floor than the stock location. And, the clutch enddgages/disengages at the very top. This car is very hard to drive. The transmission man is refusing to fix. I need to know what was done wrong and what needs to be done to fix this. Your help and kind consideration is appreciated. Walter

Sounds like your clutch cable wasn't adjusted properly. Take it somewhere else and get it looked at if your not sure what your doing, maybe an adjustable cable will help you out too.
