Question Are there really Wide Open Throttle(WOT) issues with the engine?

I was reading an article saying that Wid Open Throttle issues have been reported on the 4.6L DOHC S/C engine because of the way the piston to wall ratio is so close, is this true? I know that the engine heat is a big issue and especially since it's supercharged. So is WOT a big issue for doing 135mph on the highway or is this an issue for constant running WOT on the highway? Also would going on a trip or driving 10 hours straight to go somewhere cause this same type of issue even when not running at WOT? Obviously I don't plan on running my car wide open at 140mph all the time and I was wondering under normal higway driving at say 70-90mph for a long period cause the issue or is it just when going all out at top speed? Thanks for the help in advance guys.

WOT is not top speed.
WOT is your gas pedal on the floor, in a short term.
unless your throttle cable is not set right.

your car is plenty fine for a ten hour trip just do regular maintenance before you go like you would any other car...our cars are made to go WOT!! if your talking bout to speed thats completely diff if you stay WOT till it has no more you are risking a couple things...the supercharger is spoiling the whole time so your overdriving everything for a very long time...my tuner extremely advised me not to check out its to speed hes seen plenty of guys melt it down doing that
