Well IMO its just about the quality, comparing the two peices side by side the quality of the acufab outshines the BBK, from a performance standpoint its not gonna be two much of a difference considering a TB adds like 2-4RWHP (a tad more on a FI car) to begin with.

I agree with Uberstang.
What has the appearence of a better made TB (maybe better looking, but not functionally a lot different) is likely to have very little actual advantage in performance for the OP. If dollars are tight, I would go with the one which is priced right for my budget. Unless his car is boosted or heavily moddified, the amount of gain in a TB swap is minimal. Those funds are probably better spent on a different mod.

So, in reality, BBK completes it's intention. To give close to or the same performance at a fraction of the price. I'll keep my BBK and you can keep your 2 horsepower.

Well, in simple terms, that is correct. Not much gain from TB swaps unless you are flowing a lot of air.

I like the quality of the ACCUFAB TB's I have seen, but I doubt you would measure any performance difference between that and the BBK TB.

the major diff you will feel is the responsivenes of the pedal in both FI and non FI cars...as far as hp wont help NA's as much itll help the low end of cobras and high end of GT's...but ive seen and heard a few stories of how there harder to tune...mine works just fine but my buddys gt sometimes has idleing issues...

I've got amazing throttle response. My car does exactly what my pedal does.

I've had a BBK t/b on my car for while, no complaints yet. I've heard some people having issues with them though. I've never heard anyone complain about accufabs products besides the price tag.

Get what cha pay for maybe?

The larger bore provides quicker tip in of the throttle as it begins to open. This makes the car feel more responsive. However, from the techs I have spoken with, they all agreed that unless you have a motor flowing a lot more air than stock, you won't gain hardly anything HP wise with a TB swap.

A large single blade looks cool, but it cetainly won't do anything for my set-up. The Bullitts came with the twin 57mm set-up, so I already had a slight upgrade from other 2V motors.
