solid rear end swap
I was thinking today, how would the alignment be effected with this swap? There is no need to alignment a solid rear end... at least the 05+ but i would assume an IRS would need to be aligned in the rear. I don't know of a way to tell the computer on the alignment rack that the car has a solid rear end other then just ignoring the back end.
Wouldn't this rear end swap change it quite a bit? Furthermore, if you have say 18x10 on the rear and 18x9 on the front, you couldn't rotate the tires anyway. Double trouble.
Anyone that has a rear end swap wanna weigh in on this?

You're correct on the offset rims and tire rotation, but having a solid axle makes alignment that much easier. You simply use the rear as your base, and align the front off of it. Too easy.
