Well I was going to drive an 03 cobra on sat but the guy calls me friday and tells me they are shipping it to FL on sat and asks if i can come friday so i decide to go. Well i took it for a test drive and it was awesome and if I didnt love the car already I deffinitely fell in love when i was driving it. Well afterwards they ran my credit and all. Well i dont have alot of credit so I was going to have my sister co-sign with me. Well she didnt get off until 5 and it was 3:30 so I went home and they told me to just have her come by later that day or in the morning. Well I called my sister and she went up there when she got off to fill out her credit app. When she got there they told her not to even fill one out cause they had already sold the car. You want to talk about someone who was pissed. Thats ok. Since I have no bills really im going to get a credit card to build up my credit. But the things Im going to buy with the card are going to be pully, heatexchanger, exhaust, intake and all so when i finally get a cobra ill have the parts already. There is no doubt in my ind im getitng an 03 cobra its just a matter of time. Sorry for the long post just needed somewhere to rant.

 

its a shame they sold it to someone else but it is the business i guess. Good luck on your search for another '03, maybe you will be able to find a nicer one!

 

Im with ya on lovin the 03. The nice thing about the 05s and the announcement of the GT 500 is that some 03 owners will sell thier cars to buy the GT. More cars on the market = less expensive. Ive already found some sweet deals on 03s. If you look for a while you'll find some great deals also.

As far as credit goes, join a credit union. If you have a good job and no bad credit they will be pretty lenient with lending you the loot.
Of course age and job type have a great effect on that. Believe me, its WAY better to go to the dealership w/ the cash already or knowing what you qualify for.This gives you tremendous leverage. The dealer will try to rape you every time, especially in your situation.

 

Yeah I expected that with the new Gt500 coming out that alot more 03 cobras will be for sale her ein the future. Ive already found some good deals on them as well. And your right about the credit untion thing. Im going to try and get everythign straightened out. I dont have bad credit i just dont think I have enough. And Im beginning to feel its an age thing. Im 22 and I think they dont think i can afford the payments or something, lol. But when I finally do get one expect to see some videos up.
