I have a question about tire size. I was wondering hv anybody had a problem with wider tires wearing in the middle. I have a 01 Cobra and my alinement is correct i had a pair of Cooper tires on it at first 285/40/17 and the wore it the middle the treadwear was 100w. I put a pair of use kumho ecsta asx 275/45/17 and their wearing even across treadwear 425w but I want to go back to a 285. any idea>

 

if your wheel is too small and it bulges that would do it and the fact that coopers suck in my opinion...so that would tell me something bout the coopers since the new tire is wearing good
